Las Vegas honor band, the Nevada All-State band, the honor jazz band and many more. He is a two-time finalist in Nevada’s command performance in which musicians undergo a rigorous competition to perform at the prestigious Ham Hall present in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Professionally, he is the saxophonist on the internationally-broadcast game show Pilipinas Win Na Win on ABS-CBN. Alongside The Hitmakers (Rico J. Puno, Rey Valera, Marco Sison and Nonoy Zuniga), Richard Ian complements the balladeers perfectly, achieving an endearing, heart-warming atmosphere for audiences to listen to and watch worldwide. Among his many achievements, Richard Ian played at the concert of the famed Florante at The Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and received a warm applause multiple times from the appreciative audience.
